Château de Nalys: Picquette at the heart of an exceptional project in Châteauneuf-du-Pape

Picquette is currently working on the reconstruction of Château de Nalys, the emblematic Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate owned by Maison Guigal.
Designed by architect Amelia Tavella, the project combines heritage, contemporary architecture and demanding technical requirements.
Refrigeration and air treatment for the future winery

Our teams are installing the refrigeration and air-treatment systems required for the site, including:

copper refrigeration networks serving the cold rooms;
a direct-expansion refrigeration unit using R-454C refrigerant, selected for its lower environmental impact and compliance with F-Gas requirements;
evaporators and refrigeration equipment for cooling grapes before the winemaking process;
brazing, bending, adjustment and assembly of the technical networks.

On a project of this level, precision is essential. Alignments, brazing quality, integration into a complex architectural environment and coordination with other trades all require constant attention.

It is refrigeration work in the service of a winery built with the same standards of precision as the wines it will produce.

The project is scheduled for completion at the end of 2026.
