New project in Orange: hospitality standards at the heart of our expertise
In hospitality, temperature is part of the promise made to every guest: comfort, service continuity and consistent performance.
At the Kyriad hotel in central Orange, Picquette is replacing the heat-pump system. The operation is being managed end to end by a four-person team.
Objective 1: compliance and durability
The new generation of equipment is designed to comply with F-Gas requirements and uses lower-impact refrigerants. The aim is to combine regulatory compliance with long-term system reliability.
Objective 2: performance matched to actual activity
Two heat pumps will modulate their output from 25% to 100% depending on hotel occupancy. The system can therefore reduce consumption during quieter periods while delivering full capacity when demand increases.
Objective 3: secure day-to-day operation
Our design office created a tailor-made support structure to ensure a reliable, accessible and durable installation. In a hotel, an interruption in heating or cooling is not an option.
The project brings together four priorities: service continuity, guest comfort, operating-cost optimisation and regulatory compliance.
Thank you to the notary’s office for site access and to Mediaco for the 100-tonne crane operation.
Picquette also supports hotels and restaurants on projects such as Château de Massillan and Crillon le Brave.
